Position Overview:
As the Billing Systems Team Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our billing systems. You will lead a team of professionals, driving collaboration, optimizing system functionality, and ensuring timely, accurate billing for our customers. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, especially with Oracle and PL/SQL programming, and hands-on management experience.

Your main tasks will be:

• Lead and manage a team of 5+ billing systems specialists, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment

• Oversee the end-to-end development, implementation, and support of billing systems

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure the billing system meets the organization’s needs

• Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting, particularly with Oracle databases and PL/SQL programming

• Optimize and maintain billing workflows, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency

• Manage project timelines, ensuring milestones and deliverables are achieved

• Mentor and develop team members, encouraging professional growth and skills enhancement

Required Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Oracle databases and demonstrated experience with PL/SQL programming

• Management Experience: Proven track record of managing and leading a team of at least 5 members, with a strong focus on collaboration and goal achievement

• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data, troubleshoot issues, and develop strategic solutions

• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other billing platforms

• Knowledge of development design patterns
